For a long time, any Air Jordan 1 High was a great investment on the aftermarket. You could either quickly flip them for a nice profit or hold onto them for a few months and watch their value go up. This way of thinking worked for both men’s and grade school sizes. It even started to be valid for low-top pairs and mids.
While this is still mostly true, the sneaker market is starting to see Air Jordan 1 Highs dip in prices as the sneaker market in its entirety dips. It doesn’t mean that Air Jordan 1s are to be avoided, but you might need to open your horizons.
A sleeper on the aftermarket for a long time has been the Air Jordan Retro 4. It’s similar to Air Jordan 1s and 11s in the fact that over a certain period of time the sneaker is almost guaranteed to rise in value and you will receive a nice return on your money over time.
If you’re a member of Juiced IO then you already have been buying Air Jordan 4s or they’ve at least already been on your radar.
Juiced IO members don’t only get access to sneakers that will have a profitable demand on the aftermarket but they also get access to a ton of other great resellable items that you just can’t find out about anywhere else. These items range from pool products to cards and collectibles. If you really want to start making extra money by reselling items then selling on Juiced IO is the best way to go.
As of recently, it looks like the aftermarket prices of Air Jordan 4s have really started to take off in both men’s pairs and grade school sizes.
Here’s why you should never pass up on an opportunity to buy Air Jordan Retro 4s.
Long term value
For years now, Jordan Retro 4s have sustained their values on the aftermarket and always increase in large amounts. Especially if you look at OG colorways.
This can be seen if you look at the price of black/red or ‘Bred’ 4s that came out in May of 2019. If you track the sales of this sneaker over the course of a year then you can see they easily double in value around a year after they were released. It’s a great way to double your money in a year. This counts for both men’s pairs and grade school sizes.
General releases
For the most part, Air Jordan 4s tend to be general releases. This means they aren’t too difficult to find. Yes, you’ll still really have to put in the legwork to get pairs, especially if you want to get multiple pairs.
But still, the number of pairs of Jordan 4s created is typically high compared to most other releases because they are intended to be easy to buy.
This makes them great long-term holds on the aftermarket and easy to obtain in larger quantities at retail price.
That’s why, if you get the chance you should never pass on an Air Jordan 4, especially if you have the capital to hold them for at least a year.
