Resell Predictions For July 31 SNKRS Releases — Dunks

This is not financial advice, proceed at your own risk

I typically don’t give resell advice but I’ve been on fire recently with my own sneaker portfolio so I thought I’d share my thoughts on the July 31st Nike SNKRS releases.

Just for a little background, I’ve seen success in the last few months investing in a few different sneakers. Jordan 1 ‘All Star’ Lows were an easy cop for me back in February.

I picked up 7 pairs in sizes 12–13 for $108 with shipping and tax included. They were that easy to get because they were sleepers. The last time I checked, the aftermarket value of these sneakers was rising at around $170-$180.

Another pair I invested in was ‘Fire Red’ Jordan 4s. I bought up a ton of GS pairs for retail and now they’re comfortably sitting between $250-$300 and rising.

I’m not writing that to pat my own back but just to show a little bit of recent success when it comes to reselling kicks beyond a lot of quick flips I’ve been doing.

‘Abstract Art’ SB Parra Dunk Low Pro

These SB Parra Dunks are a strong hold. I’m not the biggest fan of holding dunks but if you look at the past Parra x Nike releases you’ll see that the aftermarket prices are looking great.

Also, the general pattern of these sneakers is attractive. Yes, it’s an abstract and funky looking sneaker but I can imagine a lot of people wanting to wear it, myself included.

On top of all that, it’s a collaboration and collabs tend to do really well over the years.

‘Light Soft Pink’ Dunk Low

These Dunks are tricky to me. Yes, the colorway is a bit quiet but also the blocking on it makes it extremely wearable for both men and women.

If it were me, I’d hold these or sell immediately before most people get pairs in-hand because they fall under a niche category of Dunks that have demand and look great.

I could definitely see these rising significantly in value over the next few months or even the next year or so, especially if Dunks continue to be popular like they have been.

One note about these Dunks is that there is decent money to be made from them right now and I personally might want to cash in on them before everyone in the world gets their pairs and starts undercutting.

‘Iron Grey’ Blazer Low x sacai

This is the pair that I’m personally torn about. Sacai collabs have always done well in the past but these Blazer Lows seem to be on the lower end of demand.

Still, they’re collabs and the colorway is extremely wearable.

I suggest taking one of two routes:

  • Quick flipping by selling with presales on eBay
  • Holding long-term and we’re talking long here (1 year+)
