The Patta x Nike Air Max 1 Noise Aqua is a reiteration of the same sneaker collaboration we saw nearly a month ago.
Patta has risen as one of the premier collaboration clothing companies with Nike. Other clothing brands like sacai and Fragment used to dominate the collaboration space with Nike, but after we saw the Patta x Nike Dunk Lows and Jordan 7s, Patta has crept its way up the list.
The same goes for the resell values of Patta. The aftermarket for Patta x Nike collaborations is healthy and looks to continue to be in the future. Just a month ago we saw a Patta x Nike Air Max 1 collaboration do well on the aftermarket.
Can lightning strike twice in the same place?

The answer is yes and no. The Patta x Nike Air Max 1 Noise Aqua will do decent on the aftermarket but not as well as the original orange colorway we saw a month ago.
Resell prices for the “The Wave” Patta x Nike Air Max 1 were around $500 in all sizes before they released. They dipped a bit after releasing but still remained profitable for resellers.
We will most likely see a similar pattern with the Nike x Patta Air Max 1 Noise Aqua. However, it will probably for a lower value. It won’t start at $500 before release day, but the Noise Aquas will dip a good bit after they release.
It’s important to keep in mind that this dip happens with most sneaker releases and it’s our opinion that the Patta x Nike Air Max 1 Noise Aqua will still bring in a nice chunk of change if you want to resell it.
However, it just won’t be as profitable as the previously released The Wave colorway. Also, remember that there will be a ton of other profitable sneaker releases in November and December, like the Air Jordan 11 Cool Grey, so if capital is tight then maybe focus on those instead.
