Has The Card Market Plummeted?

Cards were at an all-time high at this time last year

Sports cards, trading cards, NFT virtual cards.

All different, all collectibles, but none are as high in value as they were a year ago at this time.

From scalpers waiting in line and causing fights at Target, there was once a lot of money to be made by buying and reselling sealed packs of cards. You didn’t even have to open the cards. All you needed to do was sell the sealed packs if you could find them.

So are cards completely dead? No. There is money to be made with all different types of cards. In general, you should be looking at this as an opportunity and a long-term dip where you can buy cards for cheaper than they normally would be.

How can you figure out which kind of cards to buy?

Join Juiced IO

Juiced IO members already know exactly where the card market is sitting and how they can invest in more cards. They already have a great understanding of which PSA rankings will sell for more money than others and which sealed sets to buy.

Not only that, but they get detailed information every day about cards to either buy and quickly sell or buy and hold.

If you don’t want to worry about doing the research to make money reselling then joining Juiced IO is the way to go. You’ll make money with information delivered directly to you.

Buy sealed sets

The right sealed sets can bring you a lot of bang for your buck, if you can find them.

For example, Pokemon Vivid Voltage more elite trainer boxes are projected to go up significantly in value on the aftermarket over the years. Pokemon Shining Fates boxes are in more of a dip than Vivid Voltage ETBs but could still see a huge return in the future due to their high pull rates.

The right sealed sets will rise up in value if you just hold onto them and keep buying them.

Buy graded cards

Graded cards are worth a lot because they already have their value in them. A PSA 10 will always be a PSA 10 and hold that value.

That’s why if you’re buying graded PSA cards and your goal is to hold onto them until their value increases in the future, you’ll want to only look at PSA 9s and 10s, but really you’re looking at finding PSA 10s.

Many people who buy graded PSA cards only focus on 9s and 10s. Those are the ‘Mint’ and ‘Gem Mint’ grades. Bidding on cards on eBay might be your best bet at getting PSA 10s below market value. Sometimes bids go unnoticed and you’re able to pick up cards at a much cheaper amount than you normally should.

Some people claim that a PSA 8 — ‘Near Mint’ — holds significant value compared to lower numbers but historically it doesn’t perform well at all when compared to PSA 9s and 10s.
