Camo BAPE STA Release Information and Resale Prediction
It looks like Bathing Ape (BAPE) is attempting to make a comeback this fall with the BAPE STA camo sneakers releasing on Oct. 2, 2021, in a variety of nice colorways. The retail price for this shoe is $279 and it comes in three colorways that will release at BAPE.com.
This is a difficult sneaker to tell where it will go on the aftermarket and determine a resell prediction for, but it’s not impossible.
Still, we haven’t seen a BAPE sneaker of this same style in different colors released in a while, especially without it being a collaboration. There was once a period of time where BAPE STA sneakers did resell for a lot of money on the aftermarket but that was decades ago.

BAPE STA was once a profitable sneaker to resell
Go on StockX and look at aftermarket prices of previously released BAPE STA sneakers. You’ll find that the majority — if not all — of the colorways are being listed and sold for anywhere between $400 and $900.
The BAPE STA sneakers that are releasing soon have just as much of an opportunity to do the exact same thing on the aftermarket. The sad part about the pairs coming out soon is the retail price. That $280 price tag is really going to eat into profit margins
Still, the fact that we’ve seen BAPE STA sneakers resell for a lot of money in the past is a great sign that the resale market is still healthy enough to try and resell these BAPE sneakers.

The three upcoming BAPE STA colorways are wearable and the color blocking was done well. Basically, all three pairs are clean shoes and it means they have a better chance at selling for more on the aftermarket because of it.
