Geode Yeezy 700 V2 and Mauve Yeezy 700 V2
The Geode Yeezy 700 V2 is an extremely similar colorway sneaker when compared to the Mauve Yeezy 700 V2.
It has similar color blocking, is a similar colorway, and is on the exact same Yeezy model, the 700 V2.
Initially, the hype was not there for the Geode Yeezy 700 V2. The pre-release price for the Geodes was significantly lower than the pre-release price of the Mauve Yeezy 700 V2.
Geode Yeezy 700 V2s are selling for the mid $300 price range on sites like StockX after having been released more than a year ago. It’s not a great rise in value, but since the Mauve Yeezy 700 V2 looks to be more desired, it could go up in value quicker.
The Mauve 700 V2 Yeezys also have a couple other resale factors in its favor.
Yeezy Boosts hold value
In general, Yeezy Boost sneakers hold value. When compared to the Quantum Yeezy sneakers that immediately lost value because they aren’t in-demand and don’t include Boost technology.
Buyers are willing to pay more for a comfortable sneaker with Boost in it. They also like the 700 V2 model of sneaker more than a model like the Yeezy QNTMs.
In general, Yeezy Boosts continue upward over time and they don’t go down in value.
Quarter 4 is coming
Christmas and the rest of the holiday season is right around the corner. With Q4 on the way, gifts — such as sneakers — are more commonly bought for higher values.
The Yeezy 700 V2 in the Mauve colorway is releasing at the perfect time. A few months before Q4 is in full swing. It gives parents time to buy them for their kids, girlfriends time to buy them for their boyfriends, and sneaker enthusiasts time to buy them for themselves.
Kanye West just released Donda
Kanye West just released his Donda album and it’s everywhere. His fans love it and they are willing to buy his items, including his Yeezy sneakers.
With the release of the album, we can expect Yeezys of all kinds to rise in value on the aftermarket because of the buzz surrounding West and his activities.
